Launch Pad ("Launch Pad," "we," "us," or "our") operates the website launchpadbuilder.com and the Launch Pad business platform (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices. By using the Service, you agree to this Policy. 1. Who we are

Launch Pad is a business operating system that helps small service businesses set up and run their business, including website and branding setup, customer management (CRM), estimates and invoices, payment processing, and business-formation assistance. Launch Pad is operated by Launch Pad LLC, a California limited liability company.

2. Information we collect

Account information: name, email, phone number, business name, city, state, ZIP, and password.
Business and customer data: information you add to the Service about your own business and your customers (such as names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, job details, estimates, and invoices).
Payment information: processed securely by Stripe. We do not collect or store full card numbers; Stripe handles payment data under its own terms and PCI-compliant systems.
Communications: messages, support requests, and records of emails or texts sent through the Service.
Usage and device data: log data, IP address, browser type, and how you use the Service.
Cookies: we use essential cookies to keep you logged in and to operate the Service.
Google user data (only if you connect Google): see section 4A.

3. How we use information

We use your information to provide and operate the Service; create and send estimates, invoices, and notifications; process payments; provide support; improve and secure the Service; and comply with legal obligations.

4A. Google Calendar and Google Ads

If you connect a Google account, Launch Pad uses Google APIs. Each connection is separate: connecting Google Calendar asks only for calendar access, and connecting Google Ads asks only for Google Ads access. Neither is added to signing in.

Google Calendar (permission: see, create, change and delete events on Google calendars you own, plus your Google email address to show which account is connected).

What we access and why: we create, update and remove events on your calendar for the appointments booked in Launch Pad, and we read your other events so their times show as busy blocks and are not double booked.
What we store: for your Launch Pad appointments, the Google event id and version; for your other Google events, the title, start and end times, whether they are all day and whether they show as busy. Those other events are kept only as busy blocks. That cleanup runs as part of each successful sync with Google: an event is removed once it ended more than 30 days ago, or sooner when a full sync shows Google no longer has it. If you disconnect, syncing stops and the busy blocks already copied stay in our database until you ask us to delete them or your workspace is deleted. Your Google email address is stored to label the connection.
Where it goes: appointment details in Launch Pad, including changes you make to them in Google Calendar, may be included when you or your customers use the Launch Pad assistant, which runs on Anthropic's Claude, and in text messages we send your customers about their appointments through Twilio. Your other Google events are used only to show busy time; they sit in our database at Supabase and are not sent to the assistant, to Twilio, or to any other provider.
Tokens: the access and refresh tokens Google issues are stored in our database, which only our servers can read; they are never sent to your browser.
Disconnecting: "Disconnect" in Calendars removes the stored tokens and stops syncing; it does not ask Google to revoke Launch Pad's access. Events already on your Google Calendar stay there, and the busy blocks already copied stay in our database as described above. To withdraw Launch Pad's access on Google's side, remove Launch Pad at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Google Ads (permission: manage your Google Ads campaigns, plus your Google email address).

What we access and why: we read the list of advertising accounts your Google login may use so you can choose one, we read that account's campaigns, and we create paused Search campaigns and change a campaign's name or daily budget when you ask. Launch Pad never turns a campaign on and never changes your billing.
What we store: the account you chose (its id and name), a record of each campaign change you asked for (the campaign name, id and result), and your Google email address. The access and refresh tokens are stored encrypted (AES-256-GCM) in our database; the key lives only on our servers.
Where it goes: to Google's Ads API to carry out what you asked. The stored account, change record and tokens sit in our database at Supabase; nothing from Google Ads is sent to the assistant, to Twilio, or to any other provider.
Disconnecting: "Disconnect" in Settings asks Google to revoke Launch Pad's access and deletes the stored tokens and the chosen account. The record of past campaign changes stays with your workspace until the workspace is deleted.

For both: Launch Pad does not sell Google user data, does not share it with third parties except the service providers named in section 5 that process it for us (Supabase hosts our database and servers; Anthropic and Twilio as described above), and does not use it for advertising to you or for training models. Launch Pad's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Disconnecting Google Ads removes the connection, its tokens and the chosen-account setting; disconnecting Google Calendar removes the connection and its tokens. Everything is removed when your workspace is deleted. The other Google data described above (event ids on your appointments, copied busy blocks, and the record of past campaign changes, which includes the identifiers of the Ads account they were made in) is kept with your workspace until you ask us to delete it or the workspace is deleted, which you can do by contacting support@launchpadbuilder.com.

4. SMS / Text messaging

If you opt in to text messages, the following applies:

Consent: You opt in by entering your phone number and agreeing to receive texts on our web form or during signup. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
Types of messages: transactional and account-related messages such as estimate and invoice notifications, payment reminders, links to view and pay invoices, booking confirmations, and replies to your inquiries.
Message frequency: Message frequency varies based on your activity.
Rates: Message and data rates may apply.
Opt-out: You can opt out at any time by replying STOP. You may receive a final confirmation message.
Help: Reply HELP for help, or contact us at support@launchpadbuilder.com.
No sharing of mobile information: We do not sell or share mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in/consent information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information is used only to deliver the messages you requested and to operate the Service.

5. How we share information

We share information only as needed to run the Service:

Service providers that help us operate, such as Stripe (payments), Supabase (database, servers and authentication), Resend (email delivery), Twilio (text messaging), Anthropic (the Launch Pad assistant), Google (when you connect Google Calendar or Google Ads) and Netlify (hosting). These providers may only use the data to provide their services to us.
Legal reasons: if required by law, regulation, or legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
Business transfers: if Launch Pad is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

We do not sell your personal information. As stated above, we never share mobile numbers or SMS consent for marketing purposes.

6. Data retention

We keep information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Google user data is kept as described in section 4A: tokens until you disconnect or delete your workspace; copied Google busy blocks are cleaned up during each successful sync (removed 30 days after they ended, or sooner when a full sync shows Google no longer has them), and once you disconnect that cleanup stops and the blocks already copied remain until you ask us to delete them or the workspace is deleted; the chosen Ads account setting is removed when you disconnect Google Ads, and the record of past campaign changes, including the identifiers of the Ads account they were made in, remains until you ask us to delete it or the workspace is deleted. You may request deletion as described below.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

8. Your choices and rights

You may access, update, or request deletion of your information by contacting support@launchpadbuilder.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). You can opt out of texts by replying STOP, and unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in those emails. You can disconnect Google Calendar or Google Ads inside Launch Pad at any time, and remove Launch Pad's access on Google's side at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

9. Children's privacy

The Service is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

10. Third-party links

The Service may link to third-party websites we don't control. Their privacy practices are their own.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We'll post the new version here with an updated effective date.
